Cycling from New Orleans, this campsite was the perfect distance for stopping for us. Nice and well maintained campground with helpful owners. A lot of soft grass with plenty of shady areas to set up our tent. Clean toilets, laundry facility, picnic table and grills are right in the area. We were told that showers are coming very soon.

We were only there for two nights, but the owner 'saved us' from our campground in New Orleans, which we had initially made a reservation for. Unfortunately, that one was in a very bad neighborhood and next to a loud bar/club. I called Sunrise RV at 7 p.m. with the request for a site and the owners, Dawn and Jeff, were very helpful to accommodate us. They even helped us set up when we rolled in an hour later. We had two nights there and enjoyed our stay in the area - visited Stennis Space Center and went canoeing on the Pearl River and a Bajou coming off of it. The campground is located right off the road, but has trees and nice green areas.
